For the tops that never sit right on the shoulder
Some clothes need a shoulder to hang from. Soft knits, draped blouses, silk shirts and anything cut with a sloping seam collapse inward and the whole line of the garment goes with them.
These are two small silicone pads that sit on the shoulder and give the fabric something to sit on. It is a quiet fix — the garment looks like it fits, and nothing about the effect announces itself.
Suction dots, not glue
The underside is covered in small raised circles that hold by light suction against skin. Nothing sticks, nothing peels off, and there is no adhesive to lose its tack after a few wears. The trade-off is honest: on a shoulder that is damp, oily or freshly moisturised, they will slide. Clean dry skin is the whole trick.
Where they go
Dimpled side against the skin, sitting on the shoulder itself with the wider end toward the neck, then the garment over the top. They work best where something holds them in place — a shoulder seam, a bra strap, the shoulder of a fitted top — and least well under something strapless with nothing to press against.
Small enough to forget you have them on
Each pad is a soft teardrop that tapers to almost nothing at the edges, so there is no visible ridge through a thin top. They live easily in a bag for the day, which is the point of a fix you might want halfway through an evening rather than before you leave.
Looking after them
Rinse with a little mild soap and cool water, then let them air dry — do not rub them with a towel, because lint in the dots is what stops them gripping. Store them face-down on their backing film or in a clean case. Looked after, the grip comes back every time; left face-up in a drawer, it does not.
